Memore — Data Deletion Requests

This page explains how to delete specific Memore data or your entire account. Memore is published by the developer shown on Google Play.

Delete specific data (keep your account)

You can remove some Memore data without deleting your whole account.

In the app — delete a contact

1. Open Memore.
2. Go to Contacts and open a contact.
3. Tap Delete contact and confirm.

Deleted: that contact's name, birthday/anniversary dates, relationship, optional gender and notes, per-contact holiday preferences, and related reminder/draft data for that contact.

Kept: your account, profile settings, other contacts, subscription, and device registration.

In the app — remove custom occasions

From Calendar, open a custom occasion you created and delete it. This removes that occasion's reminder data from your account.

By email — request deletion of other data

Email privacy@memore.day with the subject line Memore Data Deletion Request.

Include your account email and what you want deleted (for example: operational logs, optional AI debug logs, or a specific contact we should remove). We aim to respond within 30 days and may verify your identity for requests sent outside the app.

Automatic deletion of operational data

Some backend operational data is deleted automatically after a retention period. This does not apply to your account, contacts, or saved drafts unless you delete them or delete your account.

• Request-audit metadata (for example IP address, API route, response time): about 180 days.
• AI token usage counters: about 90 days.
• Push delivery attempt logs: about 180 days.

Delete your entire account

Fastest option: delete account in the app

1. Open Memore.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Delete account and confirm.

This is the fastest path and immediately starts deletion on our backend.

Web/email request option

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to privacy@memore.day.

Please include:

• The email address used in your Memore account.
• The platform used (Android/iOS).
• A clear statement: I request account and data deletion.

What data is deleted

• Account profile data (display name, optional gender, optional country, locale, timezone).
• Saved contacts and related preferences/overrides.
• Custom occasions and reminder settings.
• Generated drafts and delivery logs.
• Device registrations and push delivery attempts.
• Authentication/session records, AI debug logs, token usage records, and request-audit metadata linked to the account.

What may be retained for limited purposes

• Records required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing compliance obligations.
• Operational logs that are de-identified and not used to re-identify you.

Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests promptly, typically within 30 days.
